ABOUT

Bridging the gap between strategy and execution

SaGe Ascend is your growth partner, dedicated to accelerating revenue and optimising go-to-market strategies for B2B companies — with a particular focus on purpose-led organisations in sustainability, ESG, SaaS and technology-enabled services in the £5m–£50m turnover range.

Founded by Nathan Wimble — an experienced growth leader and GTM specialist — SaGe Ascend helps businesses scale with clarity, confidence and impact.

Too often, companies know how they want to grow but struggle to execute effectively. SaGe Ascend bridges that gap with a “roll your sleeves up” approach: combining strategic guidance with hands-on implementation to ensure growth plans turn into measurable results.

It’s about more than ideas — it’s about making change happen with your people.

Bridge Structure

From strategy to action

It starts with a commitment to working alongside clients — not just advising from the sidelines. I don’t tell leaders what to do; I show them how to do it, by rolling up my sleeves and making it happen together. This approach embeds change, fosters sustainable growth, and builds the self-solving capabilities that allow organisations to thrive long after the engagement ends.

My methodology starts with a human and data based understanding of the business that translates into tailored workstreams that optimise every lever of growth — from sales and marketing to product launches and go-to-market execution.

The results speak for themselves: restoring profitability after four years of losses by driving +41% ARR and +70% sales growth while cutting attrition by 70% and creating an exit for the founder; delivering 4x growth in a carbon measurement and reduction business as the sector was emerging; and tripling performance for a future talent and social mobility organisation.

Three pillars

The philosophy that drives us centres on three key pillars:

Clarity

The strongest strategies are founded on a clear understanding of your clients, solutions, processes, team, goals and available resources. Anchoring the plan in deep clarity creates the foundation for success

Aligned Action

I emphasise the importance of cohesion across different business functions to drive holistic growth, ensuring everything from marketing and delivery through to sales compensation plans are aligned

Accountability

I instil a culture of responsibility and continuous improvement within client organizations. Once I've defined what needs to be done, who will do it, and when, the critical factor is ensuring accountability to drive execution

The founder

Nathan Wimble

I founded SaGe Ascend to help ambitious B2B services and SaaS businesses unlock sustainable growth and accelerate performance. My career spans scaling UK, EMEA and global organisations from early-stage ventures around £1m through to £300m global enterprises, with a consistent focus on building client-centric, high-performance cultures, driving revenue growth, and delivering successful exits.

Over the past 15 years, much of my work has centred on purpose-led businesses in sustainability, ESG and environmental services, complemented by leadership roles across data & insights, SaaS, and technology-enabled services — from building systems to consumer insights. This breadth has given me the ability to advise CEOs, CROs, Managing Directors and commercial teams on growth and transformation in both mission-driven and highly competitive markets.

I combine deep analytical insight with hands-on execution, blending go-to-market strategy and sales and marketing alignment with the intelligent use of AI to enhance productivity, decision-making, and client delivery.

At the core of my philosophy is data-informed decision-making, execution excellence, and cross-functional alignment. I help leadership teams not just design strategy and delivery, but embed self-solving capabilities, equipping teams with the tools to solve challenges independently beyond the initial engagement.

Above all, I believe growth is driven by people: engaging teams authentically, embedding client centricity, and creating clarity of purpose. It’s not enough to make the right decisions and push through actions — the real impact comes when you bring people with you on the journey. That’s how businesses energise their teams, win in competitive markets, and fulfil their potential to create lasting value for shareholders, leadership, and staff.
